Family atmosphere, lots of seating. Celebrating 31 years in business! Food was great. Just got the breakfast meat and eggs. Hashbrowns were fresh eggs cooked prefect sunny side up and the ham was a whole 16oz bone in steak. Will stop again. Marissa was my waitress very nice and attentive!

My family came here to eat breakfast and the food was amazing. Originally ordered chicken fried steak only to find out it was actually beef! I can't have beef told the waitress with the dark brown hair and with no hesitation she took it back and replaced it with a grilled chicken breast. The people here were great if we're ever in the area we will definitely eat here again!

Mitchell’s truck stop! Hidden gem that locals know about... it is a slightly jazzed up greasy spoon type place, but the food is great!!! The ham steak is HUGE plan on sharing it... pancakes are the size of your plate so plan ahead there too... 9/10 times I grab the daily special...

6-26-2022 I love coming in to eat here. The atmosphere is always happy and it makes the delicious food taste even better. Thank you for the kind and attentive service today Corey. Today I was extra pleased with the recommendation from Destiny for the patty melt when I was in need of something delicious, substantial, and quick. The cooks did an awesome job on making my food delicious and pleasing to the senses. Thank you to everyone that had a hand in my good experience. As always!!! Keep it up I love this place

Home cooking for sure! Seat yourself, but be prepared for a busy morning crowd of older folks. Very nice group. Waitress was professional, no chit chat. Only 23 for two breakfasts and a coffee! Ham steak was nice and salty. Sourdough yummy. Eggs were cooked perfectly to order same with the tasty crispy hash browns. Gravy was good not heavy like most country gravy. Will be back to try more on the menu! Biscuit looked unique but had a very fresh homemade taste, you will not be disappointed! Wish they had nicer jam and hotter coffee. P.s. the bathrooms are located in the gas station.

Fast service. The waitress was friendly. The food is better then most truck spots. Prices were fair. Lots of parking for trucks so definitely a good all in one spot.

Nice guy at the airport rental agency said it was the only good place in town for late night (after 10pm). He admitted it was at a truck stop. My expectations were somewhere in the greasy diner range. I got 2 eggs and ham steak. Portions were enormous. All the staff, even the cooks engaged me in conversation. If in need of late night eats in Idaho Falls, I would definitely return. They mentioned the pot roast menu item “Yankee Dinner” was made in house, super tender.
